Abstract
The conventional class E topology can be configured to achieve simultaneous load-independent output voltage and load-independent efficiency. Because its dual may also provide load-independent voltage, the conventional topology was examined for the possibility of simultaneous load-independent output current and load-independent efficiency. We show that the only solutions to the sets of equations describing simultaneous load-independent output current and load-independent efficiency are impractical. © 1992 IEEE
