Abstract
© 1992 IEEE. A parallel-tuned class E amplifier with finite dc-feed inductance is analysed to develop equations describing its operation. The describing equations are used to determine the load-independent properties of the amplifier. It is shown that this topology theoretically can provide simultaneous loadindependent output voltage and load-independent efficiency, but cannot provide toad-independent output current.
