Invariant Structure in Non-Stationary Behavior

Abstract

It is established that invariant structure exists in non-stationary behavior. This structure emerges from imposition of the functional symmetry required in the third-order moment function of random processes. The connection between stationary and non-stationary behaviors is discussed.
