On the determination of kinetic rate and mass transport coefficients in laser pump-probe experiments

Abstract
The solution to the radial diffusion equation for time-resolved data analysis is applied to laser pump-probe experiments. It is found that a collinear laser geometry is ideal for diffusion determinant experiments, whereas a perpendicular laser geometry is best for kinetic studies.
