Abstract
© 1992 IEEE. For an integrated circuit chip based on the GaAs HBT technology, we have developed a computer simulator called "GCHIPSIM" for the chip performance indicators including its maximum clock frequency, power consumption, fabrication yield and size. GCHIPSIM has also been used to study the dependences of the indicators on the technology feature size and the chip integration level.
