Abstract
© 2017 IEEE. A tunable mid-IR source based on four-wave mixing in Xe-filled hollow-core photonic crystal fiber is investigated numerically. Tunability from the 1.95μm pump through the mid-IR is demonstrated. In spite of higher loss, modeling suggests that smaller core fiber improves conversion efficiency.
