Abstract

This mini-review addresses the primary challenges encountered in the development of these materials and outlines potential future directions to overcome these obstacles. Key aspects of focus include the materials’ biocompatibility, scalability, functionalization, and integration with biological systems. By examining recent advancements and identifying research gaps, this review seeks to guide future innovations in biomimetic materials to achieve improved therapeutic outcomes.
