Abstract
This study focuses on generalizations of the Greenburg-Rascle construction of spatially and temporally periodic solutions to quasilinear wave equations. Focus is on the system of 1-D elasticity equations. Shock-free solutions to this problem are given. The solutions are spatially and temporally periodic.
