Application of double diffusivity model to superconductors

Abstract
A continuum double diffusivity model proposed over twenty years ago by Aifantis is applied here to interpret the experimental results of oxygen self-diffusion through grain boundaries of YBa2Cu3O7-x superconductors. The results of the agreement between theory and experiment is quite satisfactory.
