Abstract
A feedback control strategy that manipulates applied pressure to obtain the desired resin content in the composite has been developed to achieve significant improvements over the standard cure cycle. The main advantages of the new controlled composite processing are increased system robustness towards different process variations and increased allowable storage life and out-life of the prepregs.
