Abstract
A flexible simulation model generator for discrete operational systems is presented in this paper. Two discrete system modeling concepts: operations network and operation equations, are introduced. These tools are used to describe the structure of the system to be simulated. The model generator uses a batch input file which contains a list of operation equations and the remaining system specifications to generate the simulation code. Several examples are provided for the construction of operations network and the input file. The generator is written in FORTRAN and generates model and experimental files in SIMAN simulation language.
