Abstract
A new formulation for non-stationary behavior is posed. The formulation engenders from the multiplicative group composition law (M-non-stationarity) in contradistinction to the additive group composition law of the traditional formulation. The formulation is pursued specifically for the case of uniform modulation, although a possible explicit example of non-uniform modulation is also suggested. It is shown that an evolutionary spectrum for M-non-stationary behavior can be rigorously defined, and the presence of invariant structure examined. The motion of "time-averaging" for M-non-stationary uniform modulation is investigated.
