Abstract
The solubilities of silver halides in solutions of silver nitrate or silver perchlorate in acetonitrile, dimethyl sulphoxide, and acetone were measured. The stability constants of the complex ions which are formed, Ag2X+ and Ag3X2+, were determined and compared with the stability constants for these complex ions in water.
