Abstract
Two novel hydrogen-bonded network polymers, [MoO2Cl 2-(H2O)2]2[4,4′-H 2bipy]2+·2Cl- (1) and [MoO 2Cl4]2-[4,4′-H2-bipy] 2+ (2) [bipy = bipyridine] contained different three-dimensional NH···Cl hydrogen-bonded arrangements resulting in different polymeric structures; complex 1 or 2 as catalytic precursor, H 2O2 as a source of oxygen and NaHCO3 as cocatalyst showed great efficiency for the epoxidation of olefinic compounds under ambient conditions.
