Abstract
© 2015 IEEE. The papers in this special issue were presented at the The Mechatronic and Embedded Technologies in Intelligent Transportation Systems Symposium which includes contributions in technologies, methodologies and, in particular, applications of mechatronic and embedded systems in any aspect of ITSs, from automatic vehicle localization and monitoring to autonomous vehicles and environmental perception.
