Abstract
© 2014 IEEE. This paper integrates small perturbation method (SPM) with a ray-tracing (RT) algorithm to model a multi-input multi-output (MIMO) channel over a dielectric rough terrain. The effects of surface undulation height, surface correlation length, dielectric soil, transmitter and receiver heights, and interelement spacing of MIMO transceivers are examined on relative received power, intra-user spatial correlation, RMS delay spread, and the coherence bandwidth.
