Nonreciprocal and unidirectional optical bloch oscillations

Abstract
Nonreciprocal optical Bloch oscillations are shown to suppress optical beam revival in one propagation direction in asymmetric waveguide arrays. Their application to optical isolation is predicted to yield isolation ratios as large as 55 dB. © 2013 IEEE.
