Abstract
This paper investigates channel spatial correlation for promising frequency ranges. The surface roughness of the coverage area and partial line of sight is studied. Closed form solutions for the spatial cross-correlation between two receivers using the principles of Kirchhoff's theory are developed. The effects of roughness average height, transmitter-receiver distance, receiver height on spatial correlation are studied. © 2013 IEEE.
