Abstract
The effects of cavity dimensions on the resonance frequency and resonance strength of the TE01δ mode in split post-dielectric resonator (SPDR) technique are investigated by using full-wave simulations. The results of simulations provide guidance for adjusting the dimensions of the SPDR fixture so that a strong TE01d resonance mode can be excited to correctly determine the complex permittivity of dielectric materials. © 2012 IEEE.
