Description

Spore germination, protonema development, transition to caulonema, formation of a lateral branch, further development up to bud formation and emergence of the "witch's ring". Bud development, leaflets, antheridia and archegonia. Spermatozoids, early development of sporophyte and epigonium, growth of sporogonium, formation of ripe spore capsule up to ejection of spores.
