Abstract

The profound integration of cutting-edge technologies that characterize the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) has transformed logistics and manufacturing. An expansion of Industry 4.0, Logistics 4.0 strongly emphasizes data security, interconnection, and efficiency in operating smooth supply chain management. The literature review provides a thorough overview of the landscape by conducting bibliometric analyses, comprehensive evaluations of studies on Industry 4.0 adoption in various settings, and explorations of implications. Future directions are highlighted, such as the integration of driverless delivery vehicles, enhanced predictive analytics for operations, and sustainable practices. Key technologies, difficulties, and success factors are explored descriptively.
