Abstract
Three long-lived 4f125d6s26p states of Tm- bound to two Tm4f125d6s2 thresholds: J=8 bound to Tm J=15/2 by 254 meV, J=9 bound to Tm J=17/2 by 258 meV and J=10,to Tm j=17/2 by 173 meV, were analyzed. No evidence for bound Tm- was found for the p, d, and f attachements to the J=7/2 ground state. The three long-lived states were created by 6p attachments to the J=15/2, 17/2 excited states. The results show the estimated life of these long-lived J=8, 9, 10 states as 9.8μs, 0.9 ms, and 6.6 ms.
