Abstract
A revised model of the international adjustment process reveals how business schools and U.S. firms can share the task of preparing internationally effective managers. If business schools provide ”general anticipatory adjustment” to the international environment by educating for cultural awareness, firms can cost-effectively target training to specific jobs, organizations, and countries. © 1992 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
