Abstract
© 2015 ACM. This paper considers a distributed antenna system (DAS) with two remote transmitters to communicate with one mobile node, and investigates two transmission schemes: antenna switching and Alamouti coding. The time splitting factor between two transmitters in the antenna switching scheme and the power splitting factor in the Alamouti coding scheme are optimized to minimize the outage probability, as a function of the distances of the mobile node to the transmitters.
