Abstract
ABSTRACT This article describes a course designed to increase the intercultural communication skills of American postsecondary students. Activities include readings and movies illustrating cross‐cultural conflicts; application of the Gudykunst and Kim model to a crosscultural case study; panel discussions; and a cultural simulation. Suggestions are provided for adopting the course or parts of it in the foreign language or general education curriculum. © 1987 American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages
