Abstract
© 2016 Elsevier Ltd Animal and plant cells have repair capabilities to combat DNA damage. DNA damage and repair dynamics can be determined by technologies such as IDLV capture, BLESS, HTGTS, digenome-seq, and GUIDE-seq. Here we highlight GUIDE-seq, a technology used in therapeutics, and envision its application in plants.
