Circularly Polarized Luminescence and Fluorescence Detected Circular Dichroism
Circularly polarised luminescence and fluorescence-detected circular dichroism are both based on the interaction of circularly polasrised light with a chiral molecule. The former relates to the differential circularly polarized luminescence of an excited chiral molecule, and the latter to the differential absorption of circular polarized light by a chiral molecule detected by subsequent fluorescence from the excited state.
