Abstract

Material extruded in sheet form sometimes wrinkles to accommodate the expansion of the material. An approximate analysis is made of the phenomenon in order to establish a wrinkling criterion. If wrinkling does occur, the analysis gives the wrinkling frequency. © 1970 by ASME.
