Abstract
Pursuit of multiple certifications can end in confusion and wasted resources that leads companies to doubt the wisdom of seeking multiple initiatives. A comparative analysis of industry-specific and international standards can provide the foundation for an integrated management system. This paper focuses on the integration of three certification initiatives: environmental, quality, and forest product certification.
